Oceanside Sewer Improvements Program

Description

The proposed Program consists of individual wastewater utility improvement projects spanning a linear alignment from the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility (SLRWRF) to the terminus of the Oceanside Land Outfall (OLO) at the La Salina Wastewater Treatment Plant (LSWWTP). This includes underground improvements and above ground construction of a new lift station. Sewer improvement projects for this programmatic effort include: • Oceanside Mesa Garrison (OMG) Lift Station: Design & construction of a 5-million-gallons-per-day sewer lift station on a portion of the former Garrison Elementary School site to manage gravity flows and convey them to the SLRWRF. • OMG Force Main (OMG FM): Design & construction of 16,100 feet of 36-inch sewer force main to convey flows from the new OMG Lift Station and the existing Buena Vista FM to the SLRWRF. • Land Outfall Replacement: Upsizing of 27,000 feet of the existing 24-inch OLO to 30 or 36-ich pipe between the the SLRWRF and LSWWTP. • Mission Avenue Lift Station Force Main (MALS FM) Replacement: Installation of 13,000 feet of new 24-inch sewer force main parallel to the existing pipeline from the Mission Avenue Lift Station to the SLRWRF. • Mission Avenue Gravity Sewer Lining and Replacement: Rehabilitation of 600 feet of existing 24-inch pipe with cured-in-place lining and upsizing of 1,600 feet of pipe to 30 or 36-inch diameter pipe along Mission Avenue.
