The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis cultivation license. The applicant proposes to operate a Medium Outdoor license located at 363 STEEDS WAY MOUNTAIN RANCH. A total permitted canopy of 33,375 square feet is divided into three outdoor cultivation areas (A, B, and C). Plants are grown in native soil and fabric smart pots arranged in rows with 6-foot minimum walkways. No indoor cultivation, manufacturing, processing, distribution, or retail sales activities are proposed or will occur on site. All harvested materials are removed from the premises the same day as harvest and transported to licensed off-site processing facilities. The subject property is a 217-acre parcel located in the Agricultural (A1) zone. The property was historically used as a goat farm and general rural agricultural operation.
