Description

The Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works 2020 Culvert Replacement Program entails removal of existing deteriorating culverts and installing replacement culverts prioritizing those with trench plates. Trenches will be backfilled, hot mix asphalt placed, and striping painted. If water is present at the worksite or has the potential to come into contact with curing concrete, a water diversion plan will be implemented. Erosion and sediment control BMPs will be used and installed at each worksite. No trees will be removed during construction; however, some pruning and ground vegetation may be required to access the work sites.
