The City of La Quinta proposes to renovate and expand the existing Museum, modify the Lumberyard building and outdoor grounds, and remove the Lumberyard shop. The 1935 two-story Lumberyard is eligible for listing as historically significant with the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), the California Register of Historic Resources (CRHR) and the Local Register.
