Document Description
The La Quinta Cultural Campus Project (Project) consists of new construction and renovation of existing buildings on four parcels location on the south side of Avenida Montezuma (APNs 773-101-001, -002, -015 and -016). No changes are proposed to the structures on APNs 773-101-001, -002 and -015, which contain the existing La Quinta Museum (Museum) located at 77-885 Avenida Montezuma. A decorative plaza will extend along the north side of these parcels and unify the whole Project. The Project also proposes a series of adaptive reuse improvements to APN 773-101-016 (the Lumberyard parcel), the property containing the 1935 La Quinta Milling and Lumber Company property (known as the Lumberyard) located at 77-865 Avenida Montezuma. The total Project footprint encompasses 0.5± acres. The Museum and
Lumberyard are situated on the south side of Avenida Montezuma across from the La Quinta Community Park (Park), east of the Avenida Mendoza and west of Avenida Navarro.
