Cantara Trunk Line Replacement Project
Description
The Cantara Trunk Line (TL), originally built in 1917, is a critical part of LADWP’s water distribution system. The proposed improvement project will upgrade aging infrastructure to enhance water delivery, system reliability, and emergency preparedness in the Sun Valley area. The project involves installing approximately 8,200 feet of 30-inch and 5,100 feet of 20-inch underground pipeline, along with 7,010 feet of 8-inch distribution mainline improvements. This project will improve water delivery, boost system reliability, and enhance emergency preparedness for Sun Valley and nearby neighborhoods.
