Title: Cucamonga Creek Stream Gage Replacement Project
Description: On April 22, 2025, CVWD approved the replacement of the existing stream gage adjacent to Cucamonga Creek (“Replacement Project”). CVWD is carrying out the construction for the Replacement Project, and it is the primary beneficiary of the Replacement Project. CVWD received a grant from the California Department of Water Resource’s California Stream Gage Improvement Program to replace the existing stream gage adjacent to Cucamonga Creek. Since the existing stream gage is a large concrete structure that is nearly impossible to access, CVWD will install a new stream gauge with a much smaller footprint in a nearby location adjacent to Cucamonga Creek.
