On April 22, 2025, CVWD approved the replacement of the existing stream gage adjacent to Cucamonga Creek ("Replacement Project"). Since the existing stream gauge is a large concrete structure that is nearly impossible to access, CVWD will install a new stream gauge with a much smaller footprint in a nearby location adjacent to Cucamonga Creek.
