Description

On November 6, 2024, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, approved the following actions: Adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration. The project includes the construction of a new two-story, three-tier parking structure on a project site that currently contains a surface level parking lot for the Visitor’s Center in the unincorporated community of Marina del Rey, California. The parking structure will be built in the current Marina Parking lot 4, which is also referred to as parcel 49M. The new parking structure will be constructed on the east portion of the site and the surface parking lot on the west portion , and they will be connected and function as a single facility. The existing Visitor’s Center will not be altered as part of the project. The parking structure would operate 24 hours a day and would primarily serve public parking demand in the Marina area, especially for special events at Burton Chace Park.
