Document Description
On September 24, 2025, the County of Los Angeles Regional Planning Commission approved a Coastal Development Permit and Conditional Use Permit, in addition to adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the project. The project includes the construction of a new two-story, three-tier parking structure on a site that currently contains a surface level parking lot, Marina del Rey Parking Lot 4, in the unincorporated community of Marina del Rey, California. The new parking structure will be constructed on the east portion of the site with a surface parking lot on the west portion, and they will be connected and function as a single facility. A digital sign will also be installed on the front of the existing Marina del Rey Visitor Center. The parking structure would operate 24 hours a day and would primarily serve public parking demand in the Marina area, especially for special events at Burton Chace Park.
