- DPR proposes to replace a total of 7 structures destroyed by the CZU Lightening Fire Complex in Butano State Park and Big Basin State Park. To safeguard the Parks and surrounding regions, DPR has identified these strategic locations to immediately replace three vehicle bridges and four retaining walls for emergency services to protect life, public safety and property. Emergency work includes replacement of 1 vehicle bridge and 1 retaining walls at Butano State Park and 2 vehicle bridges and 3 retaining walls at Big Basin State Park, located in San Mateo and Santa Cruz County, respectively.
