Chorro Creek Stream Gauge at Canet Road

Description

The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to install a new stream gauge in Chorro Creek at the recently completed road crossing at Canet Road. The project involves installing a small gauge house (data logger) on the bank above the high water line, a 1 to 2 inch diameter steel pipe leading from the gauge house to the water and an electric pressure transducer attached to the pipe below the water line. Additionally, a staff gauge will be either attached to or painted on the bridge supports.
