Document Description
The California Department of Transportation will remove and replace a Safety Roadside Flashing Beacon (SAFB) and foundation that was damaged when a vehicle struck it. The scope of work will include removing and replacing the existing SAFB type 9 pole, foundation, conductors, and wiring. The existing pull boxes will be utilized. Portable changeable message signs, Construction Zone Enhanced Enforcement Program, and construction area and street signs will be implemented as well as potential one way traffic control to set the SAFB post in place. The SAFB pole and foundation will be replaced in its original location.
