Document Description
The Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) proposed improvements to Townsend Field, Elmer Johnson Field, and the Buchser Middle School tennis courts located adjacent to Buchser Middle School, 1111 Bellomy Street, Santa Clara, Santa Clara County, California. The Project involves Removal of existing field and replacement with a new natural grass multi-sports field, removal of existing track and replacement with a new all-weather synthetic track, Demolition of concrete bleachers and installation of new bleachers, Replacement lighting for Townsend and Elmer Johnson Fields, and new lighting for Buchser Middle School ennis courts, New PA system, new restroom building, replacement of scoreboard, replacement of press box, and demolition of concession building. Work would occur for one year beginning December 2026. Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
