Amendment (AMND 2026-0003) to a previously approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP 2020-0001) for Central Coast Agriculture, Inc.’s Cannabis Container Project to allow two-hundred metal storage containers for the storage of frozen Cannabis located at 1401 West Central Avenue (APN: 093-450-068) within a portion (4.88 acres) of the Central Coast Business Park Specific Plan in the Business Park (BP) Zoning District. The original action (CUP approval) was reviewed with an Addendum to the previously adopted Environmental Impact Report (SCH No. 2014021048) as part of DR 13-14 and SP 14-01 for the Central Coast Business Park Specific Plan.

This Project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1 Existing Facilities Projects) of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, because it is for the continued permitting and operation of a currently existing use of private structures with no expansion of the existing facilities or use. A Notice of Exemption will be filed for the project following Planning Commission action.
