Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is funding the Project referred to internally as Grandview Gardens and East Plano Consolidation with Porterville. The Project includes the consolidation of the East Plano and the Grandview Gardens water systems into the City of Porterville's community water system. • The East Plano water system consolidation involves the installation of approximately 600 feet of eight-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water main and 980 feet of four-inch PVC water main, along with 14 one-inch water services, meters, boxes, and related structures like fire hydrants and fittings. The current water main will be abandoned in place, the existing well station will be demolished, and all present water meters and boxes will be removed. • The Grandview Garden water system consolidation involves the installation of approximately 3,320 feet of eight-inch PVC and 25 feet of six-inch PVC, along with 83 new one-inch water services including meters and boxes. The project also includes abandoning the existing main, demolishing the well station, and removing all current meters and boxes
