The project involves the authorization to advertise for bids for on-call emergency wet utilities services. Based on bids received, the Port would enter into contracts with contractors to perform the repair, rehabilitation, and/or replacement of existing Port-wide wet utilities infrastructure under Specification HD-S3243. The project involves negligible or no expansion of existing or former use.

The Class 2 Replacement or Reconstruction Categorical Exemption consists of the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. Based on the bids received, the Port would enter into contracts with contractors for work involving replacement of wet utilities structures including potable water pipes, valves, hydrants, sewer pipes, manholes, storm drain lines, catch basins and other appurtenances.
