Caltrans proposes ramp pavement rehabilitation to remove 0.2’ of existing asphalt and replacing it with 0.2’ of rubberized asphalt in San Diego, CA, on northbound I-15 at the entrance ramp to Market Street at postmile 1.84. Other activities include replacing the dike in kind, re-striping, and refreshing marking and markers. All work is within the existing ramp pavement limit and there will be no staging location. This project is classified as a preventative maintenance initiative aimed at extending the service life of the existing concrete pavement through the application of a Rubber Bonded Wearing Course (Type G) overlay. All work will occur within Caltrans right-of-way.
