Document Description
To rehabilitate 2,050 linear feet of landside levee slope to maintain levee integrity and provide long-term flood protection to Egbert Tract. Repair activities include removing aggregate base from approximately 850 feet of levee crest (Station 280+50 to 289+00), clearing and grubbing the landside levee slope including the removal of approximately 1.22 acres of oak trees, excavating loose or unsuitable materials from the levee embankment, importing new levee fill material and placing it as levee embankment, and restoring the levee crest. Existing aggregate base will be reused for access roads beyond the landside levee toe. A landside ramp as well as some concrete structures at or in the landside levee toe will also be removed.
