Document Description
Use Permit to legalize an existing, solid-wood and metal fence, approximately 308 feet long, 6-feet 10-inches in height, positioned along the front property line, and approximately 25 feet from the road centerline of Ludwig Avenue on a 5-acre Agricultural and Residential parcel.
The use is consistent with the Sonoma County General Plan and Sonoma County Zoning Code. The project parcel is within the RR 5 land use designation in the Sonoma County General Plan, which is intended to provide low density residential uses such as single-family dwellings on lands without access to urban services. The proposed fence, and gate is a compatible use within the RR land use designation.
The AR (Agricultural and Residential} Zoning District allows for fences above 3 feet in height within front-yard setback areas with a Use Permit (Zoning Code Section 26-88-030(a}}.
