Document Description
The project consists of a 4,454 square-foot expansion to the existing 117,780 square-foot Walmart store. Total development for the Walmart store would be 122,234 square feet. The intended use of the expansion area is for the storage, staging and dispensing area of retail merchandise ordered by customers for on-line/pick-up at the store. Additionally, the proposed project includes the addition of 19 pick-up parking stalls (including an accessible stall), curbs, ramps, sidewalks, trash enclosure, and landscaping within the parking lot and along the boundary lines of the project site.

Project is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1) Existing Facilities. Class 1 allows the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. Specifically, additions to existing structures provided that the addition will not result in an increase of more than 10,000 square feet if: (A) if the project is in an area where all public services and facilities are available to allow for maximum development permissible in the General Plan, and (B) if the area in which the project is located is not environmentally sensitive. The project is not subject to any of the exceptions listed under CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2.
