The proposed Project Involves interim funding by Yuba County Waler Agency, acting as Responsible Agency under CECA. to support ongoing spring-run Chinook salmon reintroduction pilot studies being implemented by Callfornia Department or Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), acting as Lead Agency, within the North Yuba River watershed under the Yuba River Resilience Initiative. Pilot studies will include evaluating and refining methods for adult transport, holding habitat and spawning locations as well as egg incubation. juvenile collection, monitoring, transport, habitat utilization and parentage based tagging.
