Document Description
To remove the existing abandoned 24-inch diameter pipe by excavating the existing levee to a depth of about 15 feet past the pipe invert elevation; removing all pipe bedding material, approximately 96 feet of 24-inch steel pipe, the slide gate, and gate valve; disposing of all removed material offsite; reconstructing the levee section to the existing profile elevation with suitable excavated levee materials and approved import fill; and stabilizing the disturbed levee surface, as specified in the project plans and Operations and Maintenance Manual.
