Document Description
The Project includes construction and operation of three main components: (1) a new water service connection (also referred to as a turnout) to transfer treated water deliveries from Metropolitan’s Skinner Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to the District; (2) a new booster pump station that would connect to the turnout to pump water to the EMWD’s service area; and (3) 14 miles of new and relined transmission pipelines to deliver water from Skinner WTP to EMWD's service area. Collectively, these components comprise the Project and would be sized to meet build out demand of 140 cubic feet per second of additional treated water supplies. The four-phased project would be fully online by 2045.
