Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-RIV-42215-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Donn Uyeno/City of Indio. The Project is limited to impacts to streambed associated with the construction of a new overcrossing bridge over the Whitewater River to replace the existing bridge. The Project includes the installation of new concrete slope lining on the north and south sides of the Whitewater River and a roadway on the north side of the channel that would pass under the bridge. The Project includes construction of a re-aligned, earthen access road that will pass under the new bridge on the north side of the Whitewater River. On the south side of the Whitewater River within an area that already contains concrete slope lining, the Project will replace an existing outfall structure with a new outfall structure that uses grouted riprap.
