Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has extended Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. 1600-2009-0097-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Triangle Rock Products, Inc. The Project will provide mitigation for the impacts from the mining of the floodplain adjacent to Laguna Creek in Sacramento permitted under a separate Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. 1600-2009-0096-R2. The existing creek corridor will be widened and comprise of approximately 43 acres with an average width of 600 feet. This expanded creek corridor will also include approximately 250 feet to be preserved west of the creek, approximately 350 feet to be enhanced east of the creek, and new created emergent wetlands. This Extension of the Agreement expiration from December 31, 2025 to December 31, 2030 will allow for restoration to be completed.
