Document Description
Addendum 6 to the FEIR evaluates the increase in height of up to 62-feet for a hotel use previously approved at 45-feet. This height exception would be consistent with an existing height allowance for a theater use in the same zone. On September 16, 2025, the City Council of the City of San Clemente certified the Addendum; approved the related development standards change within the Marblehead Coastal Specific Plan Development Standards; and approved an amendment to the previously approved Site Plan Permit and Conditional Use Permit for the commercial site plan to allow the height increase for the hotel which is a part of the commercial site plan.
