Title: 2026 HIGH PRIORITY FLOOD RISK REDUCTION PROJECTS
Description: The project consists of vegetation removal within the existing 16th Avenue and 19th Avenue flood control channels to restore conveyance capacity and reduce flood risk. Work includes removal of herbaceous vegetation to the rooting depth, minor access improvements, and off-site disposal of materials. The purpose of the project is to maintain existing drainage infrastructure and reduce the risk of localized flooding. Beneficiaries include local residents and businesses. Additional project details are provided in the attached Categorical Exemption (CE) Memorandum (Memo).
