San Carlos Parks Master Plan

Description

The City initiated the preparation of a Parks Master Plan to guide the planning and implementation of parks, open space, and recreational facilities across the City’s 17 parks and two open spaces. The Plan will cover a wide variety of improvements to existing recreation facilities including passive parks, community centers, playgrounds, sport courts and fields, park amenities, and natural surface trail systems. Concepts for new facilities are proposed as part of the Plan, including potential new community centers, an aquatic facility, a bicycle pump track, and a mini ropes course. The Plan also includes updates to the Parks and Recreation Element and Land Use Map of the General Plan.
