Description

The CLOCWD Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project involves improvements to various components of the water distribution system, including the water treatment plant (WTP), distribution pipelines, storage tanks, and associated pump stations that serve the community of Clearlake Oaks in Lake County, California and nearby areas. The Proposed Project is intended to improve efficiency and conserve water by upgrading existing water storage tanks to provide adequate water storage to handle peak demands and provide fire flow storage to meet design criteria within the American Water Works Association Manual M42; improve service to accommodate outages in CLOCWD distribution systems; provide for continued compliance with the California Department of Public Health drinking water requirements; improve efficiency of WTP operations; and make efficient use of existing public facilities in order to reduce infrastructure costs.
