Title: I-5 Grade Raise Project
Description: The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes the I-5 Grade Raise Project. The project is located on Interstate 5 (I-5) in Sacramento County, between Post Miles 0.21 and 4.63. The total length of the project is 4.42 miles. Within the limits of the proposed project, I-5 is a four-lane highway. This project was programmed for Pavement Rehabilitation. The purpose of this project is to restore and improve the existing pavement condition and extend the life of transportation infrastructure. The project aims to preserve and sustain the I-5 corridor and its structures, while enhancing safety, reliability, rideability, and existing drainage systems.
