Description

The project involves construction of an eight-story multi-family residential building with 85 dwelling units, including 10 very low-income units, on a 0.43-acre vacant site at the southeast corner of El Camino Real and Jordan Avenue. The development includes an underground automated parking garage with 95 vehicle spaces, long-term and short-term bicycle parking, and a rooftop deck for resident use. The building would have a maximum height of 109 feet, nine inches to the top of the elevator tower. The project utilizes State Density Bonus Law to request waivers for front setback, interior side setback, exterior side setback, rear setback, building height, upper-story step backs, vertical façade articulation, façade entrances, privacy and line of sight, parapet length and screening, pedestrian-scaled entrance, interior side yard landscaping, rear yard landscaping, driveway landscaping, transformer fence height, and loading space location. Site improvements include new sidewalks, street trees, planters, and curb ramps along both street frontages.
