- Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued a Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1670 et seq. to the Santa Catalina Island Conservancy (Conservancy). The RMP provides the Conservancy with take authorization under Fish and Game Code section 1672, subdivisions (b) and (e), for various ecosystem restoration and related activities that will occur throughout Santa Catalina Island (Catalina). This Notice of Exemption is submitted to comply with California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15062, for CDFW’s issuance of the RMP for the Project. The prior Notice of Exemption (SCH No. 2026010969) for the Project, published on January 28, 2026, was submitted to comply with Public Resources Code, section 21080.56, subdivision (g).
