Description: Permits to Drill – CREH Buena Vista Hills 4 and 6 Development Project by California Resources Elk Hills, LLC involves the development of associated oil well infrastructure (such as well pads, sumps, production pipelines, and electrical power lines) necessary to construct and produce 6 new wells, on the proposed sites within Buena Vista Hills on Federal land managed by Bureau of Land Management, for a total disturbance equal to 4.32 acres. The proposed project is in unincorporated Kern County, California, approximately one mile northwest of Taft, and within the Buena Vista Oil Field (Section 6 and 8, Township 32 South, Range 24 East). The proposed project is not located on a site included on a list of hazardous material sites compiled pursuant to Government Code § 65962.5 [Cal. Code Regs., tit 14 §15072(g)(5)].
