San Diego City College Facilities Master Plan

Description

The project proposes improvements across the approximately 44-acre City College campus and adjacent public rights-of-way. The projects would generally demolish existing aging facilities on the campus and replace them with more modern facilities that would accommodate existing programming. The FMP is conceptual in nature and project designs are expected to be refined during future planning and design phases. The Building A Expansion, Performing Arts Center, and North Campus Athletic Fields projects are anticipated to be designed and constructed in the near term. Remaining campus-wide and long-term projects in the FMP include additional athletics facilities, classroom and office spaces, a high school replacement, a student commons building, and circulation and utility improvements. The near-term projects are analyzed at the project level in the PEIR, while campus-wide and long-term improvements and analyzed at the program level.
