- Description
- To restore the site to pre-flood conditions, the recommended repair work consists of excavating with a slope of 1H:1V and reconstructing to a 2H:1V slope with appropriate levee fill material. The repair will also incorporate a 3-foot-deep and 8-foot-wide keyway for added protection. Material will be benched into the existing to provide a good interface. Precautions will be taken during compaction of the roadway crest to prevent water infiltration which could lead to the development of tension cracks along the edge.
