Title
PL23028426 – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Public Law 84-99 Emergency Repair of Mormon Slough Levee System Site 0284-26
Description
To restore the site to pre-flood conditions, sloughed material will be removed and backfilled to a slope similar to the pre-flood condition. The approximate total repair length is 100 feet. The repair includes cutting the slope back to a 1H:1V and backfilling with quarry stone below the mean high-water elevation and levee embankment fill above separated filter material and geotextile fabric. The reconstructed profile will extend into the canal by roughly 8 feet but will maintain a 1H:1V slope. Material should be benched into the existing levee to provide a good interface. Rip rap will be placed to prevent erosion at the toe.
