Description

LAV//Pinnacle, representing Laut Berkshire, LLC (property owner), is proposing to subdivide 21.54 acres into 77 single-family residential lots, and 1 sump lot. The applicant is also requesting modifications to City standards including reverse corner and key lots and the final map will have the signatures of each party owning a recorded interest in, or right to minerals, and the nature of the respective interest, not including lessees of such rights pursuant to Bakersfield Municipal Code (BMC) Section 16.20.060 A and 16.20.050. The Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the proposed project was previously circulated for public review from June 19, 2024, to July 19, 2024. During that review period, comments were received from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Subsequent to the comments, a revised Biological Resources Evaluation was submitted for the project site. In response, the Biological Resources section of the Initial Study has been updated to incorporate the findings and conclusions of the revised biological evaluation. No other environmental topic areas were revised as part of this update. The purpose of this recirculation is to provide the public and responsible agencies with an opportunity to review and comment on the updated biological analysis.
