Description

A Countywide Policy Plan Amendment from Rural Living (RL) to Limited Industrial (LI), a Zoning Amendment from Rural Living (RL) to Community Industrial (IC), a Tentative Parcel Map (TPM 20998) with roadway dedications and right-of-way (ROW) vacation, and a Conditional Use Permit for the construction of an Electric Vehicle Charging Station and Logistics Facility, including associated on-site and off-site improvements, on approximately 99.85 acres located 0.25 mile north of the intersection of Lenwood Road and Jasper Road in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino County and within the City of Barstow Sphere of Influence. The project includes a proposed extra-territorial sewer service agreement with the City of Barstow contingent upon approval by the City of Barstow and authorization of such service by the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Bernardino (LAFCO). The project also includes a proposed annexation of four parcels and nine neighboring parcels for a total of 13 parcels currently under the jurisdiction of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (County Fire) into the Barstow Fire Protection District (BFPD) contingent on approval by BFPD and LAFCO.
