Title: Winton Water and Sanitary District Water System- Well 16 Project
Description: The purpose of this project is to carry out a State Water Resources Control Board DWSRF Planning Project to determine the best alternative to bring Well 16 back online. Well 16 is now inactive due to elevated hydrogen sulfide and manganese concentrations. The District is interested in determining whether existing Well 16 can be modified and/or treatment be added, so that it can be placed back online to provide additional water supply capacity. Groundbreaking activities are not included in the Scope of Work.
