Description

The Samoa Peninsula Right-of-Way Maintenance Project would authorize long-term maintenance of existing Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District (HBMWD) potable and non-potable water transmission infrastructure located on the Samoa Peninsula in Humboldt County. Project activities include vegetation management to maintain access roads and utility corridors, maintenance and protection of water infrastructure, reburial of exposed pipelines, replacements of electrical conduits and poles, maintenance of the discharge overflow pipe area, and implementation of habitat restoration that will serve as biological compensatory mitigation. The project will maintain access to HBMWD infrastructure, maintain reliable water delivery service, and secure regulatory approval for long-term maintenance activates.
