- UC Davis will install and test new rooftop mounted photovoltaic panels and an indoor battery storage system at the Jess S. Jackson Sustainable Winery Building on the core campus at UC Davis. The project will add additional photovoltaic panels to the existing structure and install the battery equipment inside vacant space at the same building. The system will integrate second-generation batteries retired from electric vehicles, and repurposed for this secondary application.
