Title: Millerton Lake-South Shore Kiosk Replacement
Description: This is a revised version from the original notice of filed July 25, 2005. Replacement of the entry kiosk and roadway upgrades remain a part of the project. However, during project planning it was recognized that the septic system required replacement. Therefore, this project will replace the South Shore entry kiosk and upgrade the roadway leading to the parking area. The existing kiosk is approximately 40 years old and the road is too narrow for the larger vehicles in use today. The project will also replace the existing septic system, including the leach field. The location will be slightly different than the current location to ensure public health and safety. This project would provide the Department of Parks and Recreation with a safer and more efficient area for admitting users to the boat launch area.
