Document Description
The proposed project would redevelop the existing 4.7-acre park and playing fields, expand the park into undeveloped land adjacent to the east and north resulting in a total of 13.89 acres, and construct a new access road south from the Daisy Lane parking lot to O’Connor Street. The project would construct one new lighted synthetic multi-sport playing field with a perimeter track, one new lighted synthetic baseball field, lighted sports courts, lighted amphitheater/performance stage, all-inclusive playground, exercise equipment, fenced dog park, public address (PA) system, and a new surface 44 space parking lot with access from Beech Street. The project would preserve the existing seasonal wetlands and potential seasonal wetlands on the project site. The existing concessions/restroom building, play structure, and BBQ/picnic areas would be retained and renovated, the existing fence along the western project boundary would be replaced with a new eight to 10-foot-tall chain-link fence with privacy screen, and the existing parking lot off Daisy Lane would be expanded from 25 to 71 spaces.
