Reasons for Exemption
This project is categorically exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections 15301 and 15305 which apply to existing facilities and minor alterations to land use limitations. The proposed amendments on their own do not have the potential to result in significant environmental impacts as they establish a new use classification that increases review and analysis for proposed uses and establish standards to avoid adverse impacts.
