Document Description
Complete accessibility improvements to the existing Indian Fishery Nature Trail at Bidwell-Sacramento River State Park to bring the trail into compliance with California State Parks accessibility guidelines and associated legal mandates. The accessibility improvements will:
• Use turnpike edging to reconstruct and raise the existing entrenched trail surface;
• Install two (2) drain lenses that will protect the trail surface and allow potential flood waters to flow without impeding water flow;
• Construct four (4) concrete or decomposed granite pads to relocate two (2) existing concrete benches and two (2) existing concrete picnic tables (approx. 4-ft x 10-ft and 12-ft x 13-ft, respectively);
• Construct a 20-ft x 20-ft accessible parking stall;
• Establish routes from the trail proper to the picnic areas; and
• Excavate to install two (2) 36-in. x 24-in. informational and directional signs.
