The project involves continued operation of an existing fire station facility and includes an approximately 1,030-sq-ft expansion of the main fire station building and new construction of approximately 5,063 square feet of accessory structures to support the use, consisting of a new barracks for up to six firefighters and a new training center. The project won’t substantially change current operations but will make them more efficient and will greatly improve emergency response times.
