Document Description
This is an emergency project on State Route 1 adjacent to Crystal Cove State Park. Currently the slope and roadway are being compromised due to erosion caused by increasing wave energy and storm surges relating to Super El Nino storm events. The project will provide temporary slope and roadway stabilization measures along with temporary energy dispersing devices to prevent further erosion of the slope and possible failure of the roadway. This project falls under the Governor’s State of Emergency Proclamation dated September 21, 2026.
