Section 15162
Reasons for Exemption
A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared and adopted for the project site on August 20, 2014. In accordance with CEQA Section 15162, no additional CEQA review is required for the time extension as there is no substantial evidence in the record that this project would require “major revisions” to the MND “due to the involvement of new significant environmental effects or a substantial increase in the severity of previously identified significant effects”. The proposed time extension proposes no changes to the approved project (as approved by PUD 22-001 and TTM No. 38269) and is consistent with the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration adopted on August 20, 2014. Therefore, no further environmental review is required.
