Reasons for Exemption
This project will permit remediation to mitigate impacts associated with unpermitted stream alterations. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. This project is exempt because it includes upgrading an existing stream crossing that will result in no expansion in use. The upgraded rock-armored stream crossing will be in the same location with the same purpose and capacity as the natural ford stream crossing. As carried out in accordance with the agreement, it will not have a significant effect on the environment.
